Can't go to the Show! Well let's go diving!

When: Thursday 8th October 2026 - Launceston Show Day Holiday.

Dive Location: Paterson Monument, Macquarie Street, George Town. 

Time: 9:10am for a 9:20am briefing.

The plan is to be in the water by 9:40am

Followed by brunch/ drink at local coffee shop.

Please remember that diving in the Tamar is tide-dependent and we will not be hanging around for latecomers.

The Tamar River has some spectacular diving, but please remember visibility may be poor at depth so bring a will require a torch. A DSMB are also recommended.

This dive site has a range of depths. Dive to your certification.

Any certified divers are welcome to join us.

Instructor Jason will be your dive leader.

The Dive is a free event. Please register by completing a $0 purchase. 

Scuba Gear: BYO or Equipment hire is available from Tas Divers during business hours.
