Brush up on your Dive Skills

Your PADI certification never expires and is recognised across the entire globe; but if you haven't been diving in a while, you might want to consider to refresh your SCUBA skills. It's better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. Some tour operators and dive shops even require to see a recent ReActivated date on your certification card.

The program has usually two components:

  1. Knowledge Review (Online Study) – Refresh your dive knowledge. Move quickly through topics you know well, dive deeper on topics where your knowledge may have lapsed.

  2. Pool Dives – Review and practice dive skills with a PADI Professional in confined water.

  3. Ocean Dives (optional) – Practice your skills in open water under the supervision of an instructor, explore dive sites and have fun.

During the confined water session you'll practice setting up dive gear, handle common problems, and review any scuba skills you may have forgotten.

After successfully completing both components, a PADI Diver receives a replacement certification card showing a “ReActivated” date. Divers initially certified through other training organizations (with proof of at least an entry-level certification) receive ReActivate Recognition Cards.

We structure our ReActivate courses alongside our PADI Open Water Courses.
