The SSI Scuba Skills Update is an engaging and efficient way to get your confidence back and make sure your first dive back is a great one.

Your scuba certification never expires and is recognised across the globe β€” but if it's been a while between dives, refreshing your skills before heading back into the ocean is always a smart move.Β

Course Outline | 2 Required Components + Optional Ocean Dives

  1. Digital Learning (Online Study): refresh your dive knowledge at your own pace before your pool session
  2. Pool Training: review and practice scuba skills with a Tas Divers professional in the pool β€” gear setup, common problem management and any skills you want to brush up on
  3. Ocean Dives (optional): practice your refreshed skills in open water, explore Bicheno's dive sites and have fun!

Please review the Diver Medical Form before enrolling in a scuba course. If you answer 'Yes' to any of the questions, you must see a doctor and present a dive medical/clearance to dive before we can accept you onto the course.
