Never struggle getting in and out of a cold wetsuit again. Drysuit diving seals off the water completely — keeping you warm and dry no matter how cold Tasmania's waters get.

The SSI Dry Suit Diver specialty program teaches you everything you need to dive safely and comfortably in a drysuit — so you can dive every month of the year and explore Tasmania's incredible underwater environment in any season.

Course Outline | 3 Components | 1–2 Days

  1. Digital Learning (Online Study): understand the principles of drysuit diving and how to best utilise your equipment
  2. Pool Training: practice and refine drysuit diving skills in confined water

Medical Requirements

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

Please review the Diver Medical Form before enrolling in a scuba course. If you answer 'Yes' to any of the questions, you must see a doctor and present a dive medical/clearance to dive before we can accept you onto the course.
