The Tamar River has some spectacular diving, but please remember visibility is typically poor and you will require a torch as it is a night dive. A DSMB are also recommended.
This dive site has a range of depths. Dive to your certification.
When: Wednesday 25th March 2026
Location: Paterson Monument, Macquarie Street, George Town.
Time: Meet up at 5:40pm for a 5:50pm briefing.
The plan is to be in the water by 6:10pm.
Please remember that diving in the Tamar is tide-dependent and we will not be hanging around for latecomers.
Any certified divers are welcome to join us.
Scuba Gear: BYO or Equipment hire is available from Tas Divers during business hours.
