This Clean Up Australia Day, the old gang is joining forces — Tas Divers and TDG (Tasmanian Divers Group) — and we’re calling on all our club members, scuba divers, snorkelers and family to suit up for a cause that truly matters.
Our waterways need us — and who better to protect them than the people who love them most?

Every year, marine debris and invasive species threatens wildlife, damages ecosystems, and impacts the beauty of our local dive sites. As divers and snorkelers, we see firsthand what lies beneath the surface — and together, we can do something about it.

📍 Location: CSIRO Wharf - bottom of Finlay Street, Battery Point
📅 Date: Sunday, 1st March 2026 - Clean Up Australia Day
⏰ Time: 9am - 12pm with BBQ lunch provided afterwards

🤿 Dive gear: BYO or equipment hire is available from Tas Divers during business hours - please arrange any gear hire prior to the day.
🧜♀️ Tips: This dive site has a silty bottom and visibility is usually low. Good buoyancy skills are highly recommended. Please ask us for more details if you have any concerns.
