WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Along with learning about the many benefits of diving with a sidemount configuration, during one confined water and three open water scuba dives you will learn how to:
Properly assemble and configure sidemount scuba diving equipment
Trim your weight system and sidemount gear for balance in the water
Manage gas by switching second stages as planned, if wearing two cylinders.
Respond correctly to potential problems when sidemount diving
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
You will need to bring all your scuba equipment. As you progress further into your diving career, it is recommended that you have your own equipment.

- Equipment software (mask, fins, boots, wetsuit, hood, gloves, etc.)
- Dive computer
- Sidemount BCD
- Sidemount reg set
- Course specials are available for students enrolled in the course
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
Pool session: approximately 10am - 3pm on Saturday
Ocean dives: 3 x shore dives in Waubs Bay, Bicheno on Sunday. Meeting at 10am and finishing approximately at 3pm
Once purchased we will arrange to have your eLearning sent to you and also contact you to book a time to complete the practical session of the course and answer any questions you may have.
We also have a maximum of two students per instructor for our sidemount courses so you can be assured you will get plenty of attention from our instructor.
