About the event

Join us for an after-work evening dive at the Tinderbox Marine Reserve!

The plan is for a 6 to 10m dive, so it is suitable for beginner divers, you only need your Open Water Diver certification.

There are a few artificial tyre reefs in the area as well as a nice dive along rocky reefs to the north with an abundance of marine life. Since the site was proclaimed a Marine Reserve the numbers of fish, crayfish and octopus have increased significantly. Sea dragons, squid, shrimp and crabs also call the Tinderbox Marine Reserve home, so let's see what we can find!

Time: Thursday 12th January, meet up at 6.00pm

Location: Tinderbox Marine Reserve. We will be meeting on the grass in front of the beach.

Scuba Gear: BYO. Equipment hire is available from Tasmanian Divers (North & South) during business hours (9am to 5.30pm). Contact: For questions about the dive just give us a ring, send a message or pop into the shop.

Any certified divers are welcome to come along - Tasmanian Divers Club members receive discounted equipment hire.

If you intend to come along, please RSVP on our website! We are looking forward to see you there.
