About the event
Want to join us on an exploratory dive to have a look at the wreck of the Lake Illawarra?
Come check out a piece of Tasmania's history and learn a bit about the 1975 Tasman Bridge disaster.
With a planned depth of 30-35m a deep certification is recommended with a minimum of advanced open water.
The dive would be conducted from the shore and we will meet at the Tasman Bridge Lookout at 7.30am on Sunday 24th March.
This will be a bit of an exploratory dive as we begin to map out and get familiar with the area.
We are currently waiting on confirmation from TasPorts that we have permission to conduct the dive, but if you are interested, please register your interest and we will keep you posted with more information as it becomes available!
