Want to join us on an exploratory dive to have a look at the wreck of the Lake Illawarra?
Come check out a piece of Tasmania's history and learn a bit about the 1975 Tasman Bridge disaster.
With a planned depth of 30-35m a deep certification is recommended with a minimum of advanced open water.
The dive would be conducted from the shore and we will meet at the Tasman Bridge Lookout at 1.45pm on Saturday 30th March.
This will be our second recent dive on the wreck. After our initial reconnaisance dive, we're confident in locating the wreck of the Illawarra and plan to explore the starboard gunnel and make our way to the bridge/stern before finishing the dive in the shallows looking at the bridge pylons.
