Illawarra Tech Dive

Do you have a technical diving rig & the qualifications? Join us for an extended shore dive on the wreck of the Illawarra!

After our first couple of exploratory dives to familiarise ourselves with the wreck, we've established that for a single tank recreational dive, you are limited to exploring the bridge pylons or a very brief visit to the wreck.

This dive is planned and aimed at those who have the ability to go that bit further with either a twin set or sidemount configuration.

If you have an advanced or deep certification, you are welcome to come along and participate on a dive under the bridge, but please make sure you have a buddy is this is primarily an event aimed for technical divers.
