About the event
Join us for a Sunday bubble at the Paterson Monument!
The Tamar/kanamaluka has some spectacular diving, but please remember visibility is typically poor and you will require a torch as it is a night dive. A backup torch and DSMB are also recommended.
With a planned max depth of approximately 30m, a minimum of Advanced Open Water is required.
If you are open water certified and want to come along, you can enrol in our PADI Advanced Open Water Course and complete the dive as one of your adventure dives. Come speak to us in store if you wish to do so.
This can be quite a challenging dive with varying visibility and strong water movement. It is suggested you have already done a few dives in the Tamar before jumping on this dive.
Location: Paterson Monument, George Town. Time: Meet up at 11.25am for a 11.55am briefing. The plan is to be in the water and descending by 12.10pm.
Please remember that diving in the Tamar is tide-dependent and we will not be hanging around for latecomers.
Any certified divers are welcome to come along - Tasmanian Divers Club members receive discounted equipment hire
Scuba Gear: BYO. Equipment hire is available from Tasmanian Divers (North & South) during business hours.
Contact: Call us in store during business hours for questions about the dive
