Blackmans Bay - Night Dive (SOUTH)

Join us for a Friday Night Dive at Blackmans Bay!

If you like the thrill at night and are at least a certified Open Water diver, you are welcome to join. It will be a shallow (6-10m) and relatively easy dive (weather conditions dependent) so perfect for everyone who hasn’t been night diving for a while or even wants to try out for the first time.

The objective of the dive is to find and observe some interesting critters in the bay that especially come out at night like octopi. There are currently also patches of kelp growing that we hopefully can have a look at. 

You will be required to bring a dive torch. We also recommend carrying a backup light with you. If you don’t have a torch yet you are welcome to come into our shop and have a look at the options.

Time: Friday 20th September 

Meet at 5.30pm - Briefing and gear set-up 

Dive at 6.00pm 

Location: Blackmans Bay, south end

Gear: BYO. Equipment hire is available from Tasmanian Divers North & South during business hours (9am to 5pm).

Anyone is welcome to attend, club members enjoy discounted hire rates.
